Preheat oven to 450 degrees F.
Roll out the pizza dough in an oblong shape, make sure it’s thin since you won’t be cooking it long.
Place the pizza dough on a baking sheet sprinkled with cornmeal or you can substitute flour.
Brush the dough with tomato sauce and top with tomato slices and mozzarella slices and then half of the basil leaves.
Place in preheated oven and bake for 10-15 min until the cheese is melted and crust is golden brown. (A pizza stone will result in a crispier crust instead of a baking sheet)
When finished cooking, top with the rest of the basil leaves and drizzle olive oil on top before serving.
